The book, titled The Official Eras Tour Book is described by Swift as “the most wondrous tour” of her life. Taylor said that the 256-page book will provide fans with an ‘official perspective’ of her tour. Her much awaited book will include her stories and memories from her tour and will feature some never-before-seen pictures from it.
In a social media post, Taylor expressed her joy in capturing the memories of the tour, stating that the book would offer her own perspective on the incredible journey. In addition to the book, Swift will also release physical editions of The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology on vinyl and CD, which will be available exclusively at Target starting November 29th.
Taylor Swift's fans, known for their deep connection to her music, have long wished for a book from the singer-songwriter, given her use of literary references in popular songs like London Boy and Love Story. Rumors about Swift secretly writing a book under a pseudonym or releasing a memoir in 2023 fueled excitement, but none of those rumors panned out—until now.
Following the official announcement, fans were elated, with many expressing their excitement on social media, eager to relive the tour memories through the upcoming book. However, some international fans were disappointed by the book's exclusive availability at Target, leading to mixed reactions. One fan tweeted, “Crying that this tour is coming to an end, but so excited we get to live those memories through a beautiful tour book.” Another remarked, “ONLY at Target?! Why do you hate your non-American fans?” Nonetheless, Swift's debut book is sure to be a must-read for her devoted followers.
